STATEMENT OF FAITH
We accept the Bible in its entirety, including the 39 books of the Old Testament, and the 27 Books of the New Testament, as the written Word of God. The Bible, the only essential and infallible record of God’s self-disclosure to mankind, leads us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is free of error in all that it teaches, as the Scriptures are both fully and verbally inspired of God. We encourage all believers to study the scriptures and diligently apply them to their lives. The scriptures, in their original form, are the authoritative and normative rule and guide of Christian life and doctrine. They are totally sufficient and are not to be added to, superseded, or changed by cultural tradition, worldly wisdom, or extra biblical revelation. Every doctrinal formulation and practice must be thoroughly examined under the counsel of the Holy Scripture.
We believe there is only one God; He is infinite, eternal, almighty, and perfect. We believe that in the unity of the godhead there are three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, in accordance with Colossians 1:15-16, is the physical fulfillment of the Godhead.
We believe that God created man – both male and female – in His own image. Tempted by Satan, man rebelled against God. This rebellion caused estrangement between God and mankind, prompting Him to send His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as His perfect atonement for the sin of mankind. Through the good news – the gospel – revealed in His birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension, man has the opportunity to be reconciled back to the Father, only through Jesus Christ and Him alone.
We believe that salvation, the free gift of God, is provided by grace alone and through faith alone. Man must repent of his sin and receive of the work of Christ. This act of repentance produces justification, regeneration, and sanctification, of which no one will see the Lord without.
We believe that Jesus Christ, in accordance with Matthew 16:27, Luke 21:34-36, Acts 1:11, and Revelation 22:12-13, is the Alpha and the Omega, and beginning and the end, and will one day return again. We are to earnestly wait in expectation of His coming, while preparing ourselves through a personal relationship with Him and living that is faithful to the Holy Scriptures
our mission
A song of ascents of David. How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity – Psalms 133:1 (NIV)
Unity – regardless of ethnicity, denomination, or classification. Students For Christ is all about bringing together students on campus to uplift the name of Jesus. We help students to uplift His name by inspiring them to excel in their academics, their friendships, and their personal lives. We look to do it together, as one body, through united worship nights with other campus ministries, career readiness seminars, weekly bible studies, and so much more. Through discipleship and mentorship, Students For Christ raises up the future leaders of tomorrow, teaching them to reach out across the many lines that divide us in the process.

John Das
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Greatly concerned by a lack of unity amongst the Christian organizations on his campus, a 19-year-old John Das – the son of missionaries – sought to bring together Christian students and groups, regardless of their denominations, ethnicities, or styles of worship. Through this burden the vision of Students For Christ was born, and some 24 years later there are vibrant SFC chapters in metropolitan areas across the country, focused on fostering unity amongst the body of Christ and developing students into successful professionals and adults.
Today, John serves as Chairman of the National Board of Directors of Students for Christ, while also serving as Senior Pastor of Revive Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has been married to his wife, Roslyn for 17 years, and they have five beautiful children.
